The 2022 Burhill Vets Guest Day was held on Friday 2nd September in good golfing conditions: a gentle breeze, no rain and warm air all made for some fine scoring.
Once the cards were in and checked, the winners with 43 pts in a Better Ball Stableford format were Gordon O'Malley and his guest Gary Harlow from Rookery Park Golf Club.
No fewer than 4 pairs were only a shot behind on 42pts with lots of others on 41 and 40 - in total almost half the field.
A splendid buffet lunch under the new umbrellas on the patio was enjoyed by members and guests alike providing a fitting close to a most entertaining day.
