The final Twilight of the season was played in fine weather - a pleasant change after the recent few Mixed games which had been hit by the rain. A total of some 96 players took part in what were excellent conditions - with scoring to match!  Along with some guests, that meant a round hundred for the meal, surely a record for such an event?  The food was excellent: a splendid starter buffet followed by a beef and gammon carvery, with a selection of cold desserts to finish. Everyone went home well fed!



The winners of the evening were Anna Stigner and Peter Toben with the great score of 45 points, just pipping Simon Mortlock and Ann Hynes on 44. In third place, on countback, were Roland Morley and Jacqui Instance.  Reflecting how good the scores were, the front 9 winners on 24 (on countback) were Suzy Gordon and Andrew Ramage, whilst Kathryn Lawrence and Bryan Pickup took the back 9 on 23 points (also on countback).  Nearest the Pin on the 13th were Lou Pilcher for the Ladies and Peter Coughtrey for the Men.
