This was the final Mixed event of the summer.  The Super Twilight in 2017 was won by the pairing of Andy Ray and Sue Russell with 41pts, on countback from Ed Smith and Lindsey Bennett. In third place were Peter Coughtrey and Susan Sadler.  Winners of the straightest drives were Lindsey Bennett and Steve Parish, with the closest to the pin prizes being awarded to Leslie Elliott and Andy Ray.

Despite the occasional brief shower, the weather was generally good with some evening sunshine to finish.  The meal that followed play was Burhill catering at its very best: a splendid selection of starters, a carvery main and assorted desserts to finish.  These were all washed down with a glass of bubbly, courtesy of Ron Youngs, who recorded his first ever hole-in-one on the 6th - cheers, Ron!
