Nick Moran - General Manager n.moran@burhillgolf-club.co.uk Nick joined Burhill in May 2022 and brings a wealth of operational and commercial experience spanning over 25 years working in golf, hospitality, travel and leisure businesses. As a keen golfer and club member himself - but with a handicap higher than he would want - this will help Nick guide the club knowing golf from a members perspective. Nick is married to Kirsty and between them they have two daughters now at University. He lives in a village in North Hampshire and when not at Burhill or playing golf can be found tending to his garden or at his beloved Brentford FC accompanied by a pint or two of London Pride. He is looking forward to supporting and working with our Captain's and Committee to ensure that Burhill delivers a consistently good experience for all members whether they be older or younger, long standing or very new and is excited about what the future holds for the club. |

Rob Surgey - Course Manager r.surgey@burhillgolf-club.co.uk Rob Surgey originally from Derbyshire, has been the Senior Course Manager at Burhill since September 2007 after previously working at Wycombe Heights, which is also part of the Burhill Golf and Leisure Group. In 2009 Rob and the Burhill Greenkeeping team received high recognition for the excellent environmental work being undertaken at Burhill by winning the Southern England Golf Course Environmental Award judged by the Sports Turf Research Institute. Rob, who has been with the company for over 8 years, has had previous experience working at Wentworth and the Forest of Arden preparing courses for over 11 European Tour events including the English Open, PGA Championship and World Matchplay Championships. Rob is married to Sam and they have two children. He has a current golf handicap of 2 and holds the course record at his home Club Alfreton, in Derbyshire. |

David Hanlon - Head Chef d.hanlon@burhillgolf-club.co.uk David has significant experience of working in multi outlet facilities such as Foxhills, Oakley Court, The Grove, Goodwood and many more. Having handled teams in larger environments, we are confident that David can drive Burhill forward and is able to handle the expected increase in volumes and service the needs of the membership. Outside of work, we can often find David playing golf - off a competitive 6 handicap. |

Darren Wood - Head of Golf Operations As Head of Golf Operations, Darren joined Burhill from The RAC Club in Autumn 2021. He spent almost 20 years in variety of roles at that club and met his wife Charlotte while working there. Darren is a focused family man and supports his wife and their three children (all under 8 years of age!). When not at Burhill, Darren is a keen Glasgow Rangers fan and football coach for his son's team. When time allows Darren enjoys golf coaching and spent 10 years coaching the Surrey U.14's. He started his golf journey as a junior member of Hawick GC in the Scottish borders. |

Stuart Barr - Head of Clubhouse Operations Stuart joined Burhill in Autumn 2021 having worked for many years at the Phyllis Court Club in Henley-upon-Thames. Stuart has a strong background in member hospitality environments and, while he may not be a golfer, is certainly very keen to learn more about our great game and support members to have the very best experience at Burhill. |

Richard Cudlip - Golf Administrator & Competitions Manager (FROM MONDAY16th SEPTEMEBER 2024) r.cudlip@burhillgolf-club.co.uk Richard joins Burhill following a period as General Manager at Woodcote Park in Surrey and having held a similar Golf Admin post at Royal Mid Surrey GC in Richmond. Richard lives near Tooting and his wife is a school teacher at Notre Dame in Cobham. Previously Richard ran competitions and events for the PGA and was a London Black Cabbie for many years. Richard loves his golf having played at the extremes of the British Isles in recent months - from Parkstone to Brora! He enjoys open water swimming and is a season ticket holder at AFC Wimbledon. Robbie Elliott - Golf Services Manager Robbie is joining Darren Wood's golf operations team to enhance the our delivery across; range, practice ground, bag & trolley stores and will lead and support the team of club marshals. Robbie's keen to embark on a careeer in the golf industry and in 12 months time the club will support him via the CMAE pathway (Club Managers Association of Europe). A dad to two teenage boys, Robbie's based in Hampton and his wife is an holistic sleep coach. His career background focuses on hospitality (hotels and food and beverage) in his native Scotland and more recently as a Head of Customer Success. |

Sammy Haywood - Head Assistant Professional golf.shop@burhillgolf-club.co.uk Sammy has been at Burhill his entire working career since leaving school. He first started working with the greenkeeping team including helping at the range. Sammy is currently undertaking his PGA Professional Golf Qualification whilst working in the golf operations team and earned employee of the year in 2022. Sammy is a keen Fulham fan following them home and away. You may also see him out running which he likes to do to keep himself fit and healthy. |

Jonathan Bowen - Head Assistant Professional golf.shop@burhillgolf-club.co.uk Jonathan joined Burhill in September 2023 bringing 7 years of experience in the golf industry having worked at the Royal Automobile Club and most recently at Wentworth Club. Jonathan is a fully qualified PGA Professional where he finished Top 10 in his class and enjoys helping improve people's golf game. In his spare time, Jonathan loves challenging himself where he participates in ironman triathlons. |

Helen Firman - Membership & Events h.firman@burhillgolf-club.co.uk Joined Burhill in September 2021 and is responsible for all aspects of membership administration including renewal, medical suspension and locker hire arrangements. Helen previously spent 14 years at David Lloyd, Booklands. |

Jessica Rosser - Membership & Events j.rosser@burhillgolf-club.co.uk A cornerstone of Burhill. Jess joined from school in 2016 and has spent time in almost all aspects of the club. From the Pro Shop to Reception and Food and Beverage. More recently she has supported our Club Captains and Committee with club events. She has also played a leading role in the Nedbank SA Charity Golf Day operation and now acts as a specialist wedding co-ordinator. |

Carol Seamons - Head Receptionist reception@burhillgolf-club.co.uk Carol joined Burhill in 2001 and over the last 21 years has worked in the Food & Beverage team as “Orangery Supervisor†moving on to Reception and now leads that team and supports our Club Administrator - Andrew Palmeri with club accounts (club matches and competitions). Carol enjoys Yoga sessions to relax and unwind and if there's anyone who remembers everything over the years, it's Carol and we are very pleased to have her on our team. |
